Model dental clinics set up at Gharibabad and Malir

Karachi: Sindh Secretary Health Dr Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo paid a visit to two model dental clinics set up at Gharibabad and Malir by the city’s health department for providing specialized dental treatment facilities to the citizens.

On this occasion, Director Health Services, Karachi, Dr Zafar Ejaz, informed the secretary health that the OPD service at both the dental clinics will start anytime soon as all necessary equipments, including dental chairs and other gadgets, have already been installed there.

He also told the secretary these clinics will be upgraded into Oral Hygienic Clinics in the near future for providing maxillofacial surgery facilities to patients.

Deploring that a number of private dental clinics existing in various parts of the metropolis have become a major source of hepatitis and other diseases due to non-sterilization of their instruments and unhygienic condition, Dr Ejaz underscored the need for opening more and more model dental clinics in different localities of the city for providing best possible treatment to Karachi cites.
