KARACHI- Cultural Attaché at US Embassy Islamabad, Thomas Montgomery encouraged the students of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Karachi, to impart their excellence while facing any kind of stress at work, and to tackle it, in order to overcome the difficult situations, instead of being depressed. He spoke on his grave matter while addressing a seminar on Stress Management, organized by Personality Development Students Society, MAJU. Combatting stress at work is a universal problem and every person, all over the world is forced to tackle such scenarios.

US Cultural Attaché discussed that to release stress, one should make sure not to delete the useless items from life, such as watching television for long hours and using social media without any purpose. He emphasized that the students should make sure to focus on long term planning. He asked the students to keep revisiting their goals, not to change them frequently, but to analyze how much is achieved. He also urged the students to prioritize tasks, instead of piling up work, all at once.

Personality Development Student Society’s Head, Nadeem Ahmad added to the discussion that, stress should be taken as a positive energy to work, which should be treated as a wakeup call for people so they can stay motivated to do some good work.

Co-Head of the society, Jehanzeb Khan, asked the students to be proactive and glance into the future, so they can anticipate and prepare themselves for future challenges, in order to feel less stressed.
