ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has established a national CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training programme to save lives in an emergency.

PM Shahbaz Sharif has instructed Salman Sufi, head of the Strategic Reforms Unit, to launch the plan to save lives promptly. Salman Sufi stated in a statement that an international standard CPR training programme would save lives.
In addition to teaching every individual during the campaign, he stated that CPR would also be taught in schools. Next week, Salman Sufi will publish an action plan for a statewide training initiative, he added.
He said that the Prime Minister would soon launch a health sector reform initiative and that CPR training is the first step in this direction.
