She underwent treatment, but passed away after 3 days.
Similarly, a young man was also brought to the hospital in a critical condition, showing associated symptoms. He was the third person, over a span of less than two months who died even after receiving treatment, because of the deadly disease.
Earlier, another case surfaced, involving a teenage girl who fell victim to this deadly organism. Less than a month before this case, a 40-year-old man from Gulistan-i-Jauhar was said to be the first victim.
The key method to kill the germs is to adequately perform Chlorination of water, to keep the deadly disease at bay. Another way is to use boiled water while cleaning one’s nose as this organism enters through the nasal cavity and attacks the brain. This dangerous amoeba survives in warm waters.
Health officials mentioned that no traces of chlorine were found in the water, where the victims resided.
The experts have stated that this condition’s fatality rate is almost 98 percent.
