ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of National Health Services and Regulations announced a positive update regarding the Mpox case identified in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province. The case, confirmed through genome sequencing, has been identified as the Clade II variant.
A spokesperson for the Health Ministry shared that the World Health Organization classifies the Monkeypox virus into two main clades: Clade I and Clade II. This classification helps in understanding and monitoring the virus more effectively.
