KARACHI: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi and the Aga Khan University (AKU), two of the top institutions of higher education in Pakistan, are allying to advance the educational field.
In a meeting conducted at the IBA Karachi, Main Campus, the heads of both institutes, Dr S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, and Dr Sulaiman Shahabuddin, President of AKU, reviewed the different ways in which their respective organisations might collaborate to have a beneficial societal impact.
Dr Zaidi and Dr Shahabuddin explored avenues of collaboration, including research opportunities for faculty and students and enhancing cooperation in student development programmes.
Dr Zaidi stressed the significance of the academic partnership between IBA and AKU, and he was eager to observe the good contributions made by the numerous collaborative initiatives.
Dr Shahabuddin said, "I am thrilled to see the connection between my alma mater, IBA, and Aga Khan University expanding in teaching, research, and capacity building. We look forward to collaborating to expand our influence in these areas."
The IBA team includes the Dean of the School of Business Studies, Dr Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, the Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Dr Shakeel Khoja, and other faculty and employees.
