SIEHS to officially launch first emergency base station in Nagarparkar

KARACHI: The Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS-1122) is set to officially launch its first emergency base station in Nagarparkar on October 20, 2024, at a public park in the area.
This initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services to the remote communities of District Tharparkar, addressing a critical healthcare gap in one of Sindh’s most underserved regions.
District Tharparkar, home to approximately 1.2 million people, is characterized by challenging terrain and limited access to healthcare. The new base station is expected to significantly reduce emergency response times, enabling faster medical care for the residents of Nagarparkar and surrounding areas.
The launch event will be attended by key representatives from the government and health department, marking a significant advancement in the region’s healthcare infrastructure.
This initiative is part of SIEHS’s ongoing mission to expand emergency services across Sindh, ensuring that even the most remote populations have timely access to life-saving healthcare.
