Ehsaas Scholarship distributes cheques among 149 students

KARACHI: the Students Affairs department of Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) awarded Ehsaas Scholarship checks to 149 deserving students as part of an event.

Registrar Dr. Azam Khan, Principal SIOHS Professor Dr. Zubair Ahmed Abbasi, Professor Dr. Mehmood Hussain, Professor Kiran Rafique (IPS-JSMU), and Dr. Samreen Iqbal from IPTR distributed the checks to the students.

Prof. Amjad Siraj Memon commended the award recipients and the scholarship committee for supporting academic excellence among the students. Further, he stated that the students must devote their entire attention to their studies to enhance the country's reputation nationally and internationally.

The event's Chief Guest was Registrar Dr. Azam Khan. In his remarks, he congratulated all the students who earned this award and urged them to study hard, consider the Institute their alma mater, and serve as worthy representatives of the Institute. He emphasised that the administration of JSMU is exerting great effort to give students a variety of amenities.

Prof. Zubair Ahmed Abbasi concluded the event with a vote of gratitude, in which he encouraged students to make more extraordinary efforts for their survival in today's competitive environment. Prof. Dr. Mehmood Hussain, head of the department of Prosthodontics and head of the Student Affairs department, told the students that when they enter the practical area after graduating from university, they must remember to provide amenities for the people. Mr. Dilshad Hussain was the event's primary coordinator, assisted by Ashar and Shahriyar from the Students Affairs Division.
