KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has announced the promotion of 322 Women Medical Officers (BS-17) to the position of Senior Women Medical Officers (BS-18) on a regular basis, effective immediately.
This significant development follows the recommendations made during a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and subsequent approval by the competent authority, Chief Secretary Sindh.
The Health Department's notification reflects a continued effort to enhance the career progression of women in healthcare and strengthen the administrative framework within the province’s medical sector.
This move is expected to not only recognize the contributions of women medical officers but also improve the efficiency and delivery of healthcare services across Sindh.
