E-cigarettes sale to youngsters banned

MARDAN: The sale of e-cigarettes and vaping devices to individuals under the age of 21 has been officially prohibited in the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under section 144.

Under the new directive, the sale of e-cigarettes and vaping devices within a 50-meter radius of educational institutions is expressly forbidden.

Mardan deputy commissioner has warned that strict action will be taken against any violations of this restriction under Section 188.

This decision reflects a proactive stance by local authorities to address concerns related to the use of e-cigarettes and vaping among the youth, prioritizing public health and safety.
