LAHORE: The doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff in Punjab have been advised to use social media responsibly, avoiding sharing political or controversial content.
Issuing new social media guidelines for medical professionals, the Punjab health department has asked them to be cautious in their online conduct.
According to a recent notification, medical professionals in Punjab are urged to refrain from participating in political discussions, sharing unverified information, or commenting on political figures, as well as posting content that could potentially spark controversy.
The guidelines stress the need to avoid spreading political messages or sharing unconfirmed news related to the government.
Health workers are also warned against discussing sensitive topics, such as religion or political opinion, and instructed not to criticize or disclose official policies and notifications on social media.
