KARACHI: A disturbing incident involving the alleged sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl by a fake doctor has been reported in Karachi’s Surjani Town, following which the suspect has been arrested.
The quack was apprehended by locals and handed over to the police after being beaten.
The victim told the police that the suspect forcibly grabbed her and subjected to sexual assault.
Surjani police confirmed that the girl is receiving medical treatment.
A case has been registered against the accused, based on the victim’s family's complaint.
Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hasan Linjar has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident and assured the victim's family of safety, seeking a report from SSP west.
