KARACHI- Two major Hospitals, belonging to Sindh Government, are currently operating without medical superintendents, resulting in hindrances in the administrative affairs of these health facilities.

The medical superintendents of Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad and Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital had been retired from their posts since several weeks but, Sindh Government has failed to finalize the names of the replacements, in order to fill the vacant posts.

Currently, the medical superintendent of Sindh Government New Karachi is looking after the administrative affairs of these hospitals on a temporary basis.

Newly Appointed Secretary Health Sindh Dr. Muhammad Usman Chachar,  stated that, competent officers would be posted to fill in the vacant posts in a couple of days, after receiving the official briefing from Sindh’s Health Department.
