KARACHI: The International Psychosocial & Psychiatric Rehabilitation Conference (PPRC) 2024 will take place on December 20-21 at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi. This two-day event aims to bring together global experts to address key issues in mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation, and the challenges the world faces in these areas.
The conference will focus on the latest advancements in mental health care, the growing role of technology, the importance of mental health awareness, and the evolving contribution of spirituality to well-being. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Minhaj Qidwai, announced during the inauguration ceremony that the event will also feature a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award to be presented to Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, the Minister of Health for the Government of Sindh, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to public health.
