PIMS team declares Bushra Bibi medically fit

ISLAMABAD: A three-member medical team from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has declared Bushra Bibi fit after conducting her examination.

The team, consisting of Dr Bushra Liquat, Dr Hira Tahir, and Dr Sidra, examined former prime minister Imran Khan’s incarcerated wife Bushra Bibi at the Bani Gala sub-jail after she complained of acidity and chest pain, according to sources.

Sources say that the former first lady was found fit and was advised to take precautions while consuming food. 

The medical report was forwarded to higher authorities by the PIMS doctors.

Last week, a comprehensive medical evaluation of Bushra Bibi was performed under the observation of Mr Khan’s family physician, and the doctors at a private hospital had declared her to be in good health.
