KARACHI: In its ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery in coastal regions, the Pakistan Navy (PN) organised a complimentary medical camp at Kappar village of Balochistan.
According to a press release from the Pakistan Navy, the free medical camp, conducted by Navy doctors and paramedical staff, in collaboration with the Sahil Welfare Association, catered to the healthcare needs of hundreds of the village residents, including women and children.
During the camp, a specialized team of medical professionals, comprising doctors in various fields such as Medical, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Skin Specialists, and General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO), attended to patients, providing them with free consultations and medicines.
Besides medical services, the local community received valuable information on maternal health and the nutritional requirements for mothers and children. The initiative also aimed to raise awareness about common infections, personal health, hygiene practices, child healthcare, disease prevention, and the importance of maintaining sanitary living conditions.
This camp reflects the Pakistan Navy's commitment to deliver high-quality medical facilities to the residents along the coastal belt.
