Health of Dr Aafia's mother deteriorates

KARACHI: Ismat Siddiqui, the mother of Dr Aafia Siddiqui and Dr Fowzia Siddiqui, was hospitalised after her health condition deteriorated. 

As per details, Ismat Siddiqui was rushed to Aga Khan University hospital, where she was admitted.  

Presently, she was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where her different tests were being conducted. However, her COVID-19 test was negative. She was suffering from fever and respiratory issues.  

As per details, she was also a chronic kidney patient. Due to the prolonged detention of her daughter Dr Aafia Siddiqui, she also faced acute sadness. 

Dr Fowzia Siddiqui had appealed to the whole Pakistani nation and supporters of the Aafia abroad to pray for the early recovery and health of Ismat Siddiqui.
