Kidnapped doctor recovered, accused used walkie-talkie

Peshawar: Dr. Yusuf, a physician from a private hospital who was kidnapped for a ransom of 50 million rupees, has been safely recovered. During the abduction, it has been revealed that the perpetrators used a walkie-talkie wireless set.

According to details, Dr. Yusuf was abducted from Achini Road in the suburbs of Peshawar while en route to Shaukat Khanum Hospital from his home in Haji Banda. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 50 million rupees for his release.

SP Investigation Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada confirmed that the accused used a wireless set during the abduction. Police have apprehended two suspects involved in the crime, one of whom is an Afghan national. Additionally, the vehicle and weapons used in the abduction have been recovered.

An FIR was filed at Sarband Police Station following the complaint by Faqirullah, the father of Dr. Yusuf.
