KARACHI: Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho has addressed the recent assault on a polio worker in Goth Allah Baksh Jakhrani, Jacobabad. Dr. Pechuho has directed local police to enhance security at the polio worker's residence to ensure her safety. Additionally, she has reached out to the Chief Minister to request financial compensation to support the worker and her children during this challenging time.
“Our female polio workers are the backbone of the polio eradication program, and their safety is a top priority. I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure that she receives the justice and support she deserves,” Dr. Pechuho stated.
