ISLAMABAD: A new case of Monkeypox has been confirmed in Islamabad on Monday. The patient, a 44-year-old individual from Gujarat district, Punjab, recently arrived from Saudi Arabia. This case marks the seventh instance of Monkeypox reported in the country this year and the sixth since the World Health Organization declared an emergency last month.
The patient is currently receiving care at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad and is reported to be stable.
