LAHORE: Punjab health secretary and the University of Sargodha (UoS) registrar were summoned by the Lahore High Court in a case concerning the collection of extra fees from foreign students enrolled in medical colleges.
Justice Sultan Tanveer presided over the hearing, where Osama Kasar, the counsel for petitioner Karamullah Khan and others, presented arguments.
The lawyer argued that despite favourable rulings from relevant forums, private medical colleges were continuing to charge foreign students additional fees.
The counsel requested the court to order the private colleges to reimburse the extra fees collected.
