ISLAMABAD: All COVID-19-related restrictions in Pakistan are being lifted, according to Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning and Development and Special Initiatives.

COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, according to Umar, the head of the  NCOC. This includes rules for indoor dining (including weddings and markets), as well as sports activities and all the other SOPs.

However, he stated that only the immunisation against COVID-19 would continue to be restricted, and only until the vaccination ratio reached at least 80%. There were 493 new instances of COVID-19 recorded in the last 24 hours, with a positive rate of 1.42 percent, according to the NCOC's data.
