Karachi: The Sindh Chapter of the Pakistan Association of Private Medical and Dental Institutions (PAMI) recently rejected the constitution of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
In an executive committee meeting of PAMI held here, all the regulations pertaining to admission and inspection and others were dismissed by the official body of PAMI. PAMI also boycotted the newly introduced legislation of MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test) and NLE (National Licensing Examination).
The meeting also decided to side with the rest of the medical and dental associations protesting against PMC regulations and forming the Grand Alliance.
PAMI Sindh is now set to extend its resolutions to PAMI Central Executive in a meeting slated on June.
