Locals Protest Against Malpractice at Private Hospital

KARACHI- Recently, the residents of Gulshan e Iqbal staged a protest demonstration outside a private hospital, situated at Maskan Chowrangi, alleging that a doctor’s negligence claimed the life of an innocent child.

According to the protesters, the two and half year old girl, Hurien Zahra was brought to the private hospital with chest infection, due to which doctors administrated an injection claiming it would help the child, after which her condition turned worse.

The hospital administration asked the family to shift the young patient to another hospital, as her condition became too serious. The family then shifted the child to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH), but unfortunately, she died before reaching the hospital, sending the family into a grave state of shock.

The family members and locals demanded of the hospital’s authoritative figures to take strict action against the concerned doctor and hospital administration.
