KARACHI: Six children born to a mother in Karachi two days ago have died.
Hina Nazim, a 25-year-old resident of the Kala Pul neighbourhood in Karachi, gave birth to sextuplets two days ago at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).
Two girls and four boys comprised the sextuplets, per hospital administration. Two days later, doctors revealed that all the children had died due to their respiratory problems and underweight state.
Others were delivered dead, while others died shortly after being brought to the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) and placed in incubators.
