Health Asia-2015 moot ends - Attracts over 300 foreign delegates

KARACHI - Over 300 foreign delegates from 27 countries, including China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Germany and Turkey participated in the 11th Health Asia 2015 International Exhibition & Conference which concluded here at the Expo Centre.

About 73,200 local pharmaceutical industry and medical visitors attended the three-day exhibition and conducted business deals worth around US$225 million.

Prominent people who visited the event included Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) vice chancellor Prof Masood Hameed Khan, Chinese Commercial Counsellor, JETRO Country Director, Russian Commercial Counsellor.

Two conferences on pharmaceutical industry and 12 seminars and workshops on different specialties of medical industry were held at the exhibition.

The events which were attended by a number of people included conference on Compliant Pharmaceutical Environment, Workshop on BLS, Adult, Child & Infant; Seminar on Disaster Management; Workshop on Stress Management; Workshop on Anastomosis; Seminar on Nephrology and seminar on Multidisciplinary Dentistry.
