AKUH to organize Kidney Transplant Health Awareness session

Karachi: The Aga Khan University Hospital will be organizing a session dedicated to raising awareness regarding Kidney Transplants on the 15th of December.

The session aims to equip healthcare professionals, general public, kidney recipients and donors with accurate, comprehensive information related to transplants, surgery considerations, the procedure in general and post-operative health care. Leading experts will be available to professionally address all questions and queries presented by participants of the session.

The seminar also includes an interview session with kidney transplant patients to help participants gain a detailed insight into their experience before, during and after surgery.
