38 dengue cases immerge in Sindh during Monsoon

Karachi: At least 38 new dengue fever cases were reported throughout the Sindh province in last 24-hours out of which 30 were detected in the Karachi division.  

The Vector Borne Diseases (VBD) Department of Directorate General Health Services Sindh has registered 1573 dengue cases across the Sindh province out of them 1250 were registered in Karachi from 1st January to 12 August 2022.   

However, no death due to the dengue fever has been reported yet.   

A total 341 dengue fever cases surfaced in month of August so far out of them 308 were registered in Karachi division.  

Out of total 1573 Sindh cases, 1250 were registered in Karachi this year so far. 

The majority of cases were recorded in District East 540, followed by 265 in District Central and 205 in Disrict South while 172 in Tharparkar.
