PMA moves for the protection of Doctors

Karachi – A statement issued in a press release by Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) today, Dr. Qazi Wasiq, the General Secretary of PMA Karachi informed that with joint collaboration with DG Rangers Sindh, Gen. Rizwan Akthar and the high police officials, a Joint Emergency Report & Response Center (JERRC) has been established at the PMA House, Garden Road, Karachi.

The function of the JERRC is to provide assistance to doctors who have been threatened or extorted for . The press release requested the all doctors and medical professionals to get in touch with JERRC immediately should they face such situation.

The JERRC is manned by rangers and police officials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They can be contacted on 021-32031148 and 021-2031149.
