KARACHI: Respiratory diseases have surged due to rising air pollution levels in the city. The President of the Paediatrics Association reported that approximately 80 to 90 children are visiting government hospitals daily for respiratory issues, including throat and chest infections, as well as asthma. He noted that the incidence of respiratory diseases has doubled compared to previous months.
