YDA opposes extension of Chairman Sh. Zayed Hospital

Lahore: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) in Punjab has announced that it will oppose any possible extension given to the Chairman of Sheikh Zayed Hospital (SZH) – Professor Zafar Iqbal.

As per government rules and regulations, the present chairman of SZH is expected to retire from service on the the 18th of May, 2014, since he has reached an age of 60 years. YDA officials have stated that; If the chairman is granted any extension in employment at the SZH, it will be a blatant violation of the Supreme court's decision, which has refused to allow an extension in this case.

The Media Secretary of YDA Punjab has stated that; YDA will use all legal means to stop any violation of the judicial order and block his extension.
