KARACHI- Two-day 14th Biennial Convention of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) will be held in Karachi from March 22, 2015 and about 1500 health professional will be participating in the event.
The convention would be the largest gathering of health professionals, both consultants and young medical graduates in the province and issues pertaining to health of the nation, continuous medical education and medical ethics would be discussed, to enhance the professional capacity of the health professionals.
The convention will be held under the theme; “The best person among humans is the one who is most beneficial to humanity” while scientific sessions would be held to let the young and practicing health professionals know the advances in their respective fields of specialization.
Presenting the detailed program of the two-day convention, PIMA Karachi President - Dr Azeemuddin said; The convention would commence with the holding of pre-convention workshops on radiology, ENT and cardiology, which would be addressed by senior most professionals of each field of medical specialization.
Secretary of the 14th Biennial Convention -Dr Saad Khalid Niaz said; Scientific sessions on cardiology, pulmonology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, women health, neurology, diabetes, radiology, surgery, gastroenterology, hematology and oncology would be held and led-by experts in these respective fields.
