Government of Sindh to Recruit 1,096 Nurses to Fill Vacant Posts

KARACHI- Upon the directives of Sindh Health Department, the Secretary Sindh Public Services Commission (SPSC) has been asked to recruit 1,096 staff nurses, in order to fill the vacant posts within the department.

An official letter, duly signed by the Additional Chief Secretary Health, with approval of the Health Minister regarding filling the vacant posts of staff nurses (BS-16) in the Health Department as per rules was circulated.

Earlier, the nurses of Sindh, under the banner of Joint Nurses Action Committee (JNAC) held numerous protest demonstrations at Karachi Press Club for recruitments and other demands to enhance their professional field.

Central Leader, Young Nurses Association (YNA) Sindh, Aijaz Ali Kelari, thanked the Government of Sindh, for the recruitment of 1,096 staff nurses through Sindh Public Services Commission.

He further added that new hiring will greatly improve the status of patient care in health facilities, all over the province of Sindh.
