Pakistan Medical Association’s (PMA) Executive Meeting Convened

The PMA’s Subject Meeting was held on 29^th March ‘2018 at the Committee Room, PMA House Talagang Road, Chakwal, under the Chairmanship of President PMA Chakwal, Prof. Dr. Arshad Malik.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran. The Chair welcomed all the participants to the meeting and shed light on all the important discussion points of the meeting.

The matter of registrations with Punjab Health Commission were given first consideration. It was decided in the meeting that, none of the Doctors, Health care centers or Clinics will register with the Punjab Health Commission (PHC) till the time they obtain a green signal from Pakistan Medical Association, Punjab.

Next up, a resolution was passed during which it was suggested to PMA, Punjab that a poster or banner should be designed and to be sent to all branches of Punjab, from there onwards, it should be posted in every clinic.

Furthermore, it was unanimously decided in the meeting that, a boundary wall or a lock mechanism should be installed at the site of PMA House Talagang Road Chakwal, to ensure safety.

During the meeting, the date for the 4^th National Medical Conference was decided to be 4^th November, 2018. All the Chairmen of the committees would stay the same, in order to maintain discretion.

The executive meeting ended on a productive note. The Chairperson, Prof.Dr. Arshad Malik expressed his gratitude towards all the committee members.
