The University’s Harassment Committee findings regarding the incident that allegedly happened in June 2022 have been referred to the Department of Universities and Boards for further investigations and a final decision. The lecturer will remain suspended, meanwhile.
The University’s Harassment Committee comprises senior professors and faculty members. The Committee recorded statements of all those concerned and gathered evidence over two weeks, following the guidelines given by the Higher Education Commission. JSMU administration has zero tolerance for cases of harassment and is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the students of its various institutes.
