CAIRO: Abdul Qadir Patel, Federal Health Minister, met with Fahad Bin Abdur Rehman Al-Jalaja, Saudi Arabia's Health Minister.
Abdul Qadir Patel informed Fahad Bin Abdurofehman Al-Jalaja of concerns about the recognition and certification of degrees issued by Pakistani Medical Universities, including MS, MD, and PhD degrees and invited him to visit Pakistan.
Abdul Qadir Patel said that Pakistani medical universities grant postgraduate medical degrees based on merit and international norms. Fahad Bin Abdur Rehman Al-Jalaja stated that the registration/accreditation problem for MS, MD, and PhD degrees would be addressed, and he would guarantee a speedy settlement.
Abdul Qadir Patel also briefed the Saudi Health Minister about Pakistani experts, including nurses, paramedics, technicians, and physiotherapists, urging that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia employ the services of these professionals immediately.
