5th National & International Pharmacists’ Conference

KARACHI-The Pakistan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (PSHP) is organizing a one-day 5th national & 2nd international conference on October 14, 2017 under theme “Quality, Safety and Outcome; A Program shift in Pharmacy”.

This was announced by President, Pakistan Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Abdul Latif Sheikh, during a press conference at Karachi Press Club here .  Director, Drug Testing Laboratory, Saif ur Rehman Khattak,   Senior Pharmacist at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Jibran Bin Yousuf, Dr Umima Muzammil, Pharmacist Sunny were also present on this occasion.

Abdul Latif Sheikh said this event provides an interdisciplinary forum to reinforce the importance and significance of Quality & Safety Concerns in Health System Pharmacy. He said it will also examine the impacts of its outcome that has produced a paradigm shift in pharmacy practices.

He said in presence of international experts from pharmacy profession at the conference also serves as a golden opportunity for the local pharmacists to get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of pharmacy.

He said major topics like pharmacist impact on quality, safety & cost effectiveness for CEO hospitals/ directors, role of pharmaceutical manufacturer to enhance patient safety for managing directors and patient centric health care for pharmacists will be covered in the conference.

He informed that Mr. Henri R. Manasse Jr and Miss.Jacqueline Surugue are key keynote speakers beside other national speakers.
