ISTANBUL: Reportedly, one dead and eleven injured during a blast at Taksim Square in Turkey's metropolitan today, shocking thousands of civilians present at the scene.
Videos show, pedestrians running from the scene in fright after a distant explosion in Istanbul’s Taksim Square. Police have since, cordoned off the area and ambulances rushed to the scene immediately.
The incident took place at 4:20pm, local standard time, on the 13th of November, at the main Istiklal Avenue, Beyoglu District.
According to reports, there has been a loss of one life while atleast eleven have been injured during the incident. Inspectors present at the scene are yet to decipher what caused the explosion.
