His statement was made a day after the homes of many Muslims in Uttar Pradesh were demolished for protesting and their suspected involvement in last week's riots, which were sparked by the blasphemous remarks made by the leaders of the ruling BJP.

On his Twitter account, Prime Minister Shahbaz stated that India was working on a plan to "further marginalize" Indian Muslims on political, economic, and cultural grounds, but New Delhi's so-called "democracy" was revealed to the world.

Before the prime minister, the Foreign Office sharply criticized the heavy-handed reaction by Indian authorities to Muslims staging a peaceful demonstration following Friday prayers in response to insulting remarks made by two members of the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In the city of Ranchi, two innocent Muslim demonstrators were killed, and thirteen others were injured as a result of the indiscriminate and widespread use of brute force by the Indian government in multiple states.
