KARACHI- Government of Sindh sanctioned health professional allowance for Paramedical Staff, working across the health facilities in Sindh.
The Paramedical Staff Joint Action Committee, Sindh previously staged a three-day sit-in outside Karachi Press Club (KPC) for the approval of their health professional allowance. They demanded for this to be fulfilled on the patron of Punjab, Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to an order issued by Sindh Finance Department, with the approval of the competent authority (i.e. Chief Minister Sindh), Government Sindh was pleased to allow health professional allowance worth 20% of respective basic pay to the paramedical staff and support staff in BPS-1 to BPS-15 working in medical/ health institutions of health department, with effect from July 1st 2018.
Central leaders of Paramedical Staff Joint Action Committee, Sindh, Asmil Jiskani, Akhlaq Ahmed Khan, Suleman Memon, Arshad Shah, Qadir Bux, Ejaz Ahmed Kekpato and Qayum Marwat thanked the Chief Minister Sindh, Health Minister and Secretary Health for the approval of allowances, alongside allocation of over two billion.
