‘Pakistan Red Crescent, Sindh’ Sets Up Heatstroke Centre.

KARACHI- Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC), Sindh, established a Heatstroke Center at  Hilal-e-Ahmer House, Teen Talwar Clifton, on Tuesday, 27th March ‘2018, in order to facilitate people exposed to recent increase in temperature.


 The center is setup in view of soaring temperatures and to assist people suffering from heatstroke. Moreover, it aims to create awareness regarding heat stroke and effective response techniques to prevent it.


PRC, Sindh branch, is dedicated towards assisting the humanitarian needs and facilitate our general public. The center provided commuters and pedestrians with water and juice, to combat dehydration, followed by any health emergency.


The District branch, Sanghar has also conducted awareness sessions regarding heat related ailments and their prevention. Around 200 people participated in this session.
