CM Pervaiz Elahi to upgrade Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology

LAHORE: Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chief Minister of Punjab, presided over a meeting to examine upgrading the Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology in his office (WIC).

In addition to establishing a section for treating children with congenital heart disease, the Chief Minister of Punjab instructed to hire foreign specialists. He stated that children afflicted with heart disease would no longer be required to travel to India for treatment.

In addition, he permitted the construction of a hostel and houses for medical professionals. Likewise, Gujranwala Teaching Hospital and Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital would develop the most modern cardiology and urology departments, respectively. Similarly, the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital would receive additional dialysis machines, he noted.

The Chief Minister of Punjab also directed the creation of the best waiting room for hospital visitors and planting of an increasing number of trees on hospital grounds. He concluded that the construction of a magnificent mosque with the assistance of philanthropists is cause for optimism.
