International standards implementation in PMDC operations

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) was recently visited by a delegation of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). According to a news report; The aim of the visit was to evaluate whether the PMDC is following the guidelines and international standards provided by FAIMER.

The delegation has remarked that; it found the PMDC's working and standards quite up to the mark and in line with international obligations.
President PMDC Prof Dr Masood Hameed Khan along with his team of senior PMDC members (Executive Committee) and Registrar welcomed the delegation. A detailed presentation of PMDC was also given to the visiting team. Dr Shaista Faisal Deputy Registrar PMDC gave the presentation regarding the enhancement and improvements done in the registration and accreditation system.
