Four Heatstroke Relief Centers by PRCS in Karachi

KARACHI:  Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) Sindh, established four heatstroke treatment centers in Karachi, and conducted an awareness program, for over 500 people belonging to various occupations, in light of Karachi’s current heat wave.

Provincial Secretary, PRCS, Kanwar Waseem stated that, Red Crescent has launched a campaign, in order to spread awareness to people regarding heatstroke and its management. Informative pamphlets were distributed amongst citizens and in various institutions. All four heatstroke management centers are operating within Red Crescent existing medical units in Karachi.

These centers are providing free of charge, quality treatment to those who are suffering from heatstroke.
