KARACHI: Recently, in block 9, Clifton, Karachi, a man of around 30 years of age was shot dead.
As per sources, the deceased was a member of a minority community. He was coming back from the private bank after withdrawing cash, and while he was sitting in his vehicle, criminals attempted to snatch his belongings. However, the man resisted and got injured owing to a gunshot by dacoits.
Afterwards, he was taken to a nearby hospital by rescue services. Unfortunately, he could not survive and succumbed ascribed to a gunshot.
Moreover, officials of Sindh Police had cordoned off the area and initiated their investigation.
Subsequently, officials of Sindh Police revealed that the man withdrew Rs 7.5 million. The robbers were waiting for him inside the bank, and as he left the premises, the criminals followed him to his vehicle and snatched the withdrawn amount. During the robbery, they fired and killed the victim.
