11,082 admissions received for several social sciences departments at KU

KARACHI: As many as 10,576 candidates appeared in the entry test held for the BS four-year degree programs in several sciences and social sciences departments at KU.

Many of these courses included, Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Business Administration (BBA), BE Chemical Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science (BSCS) and (BSSE) Criminology, Split 2 + 2 Chinese, Education, Environmental Studies, Food Science and Technology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, International Relations, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Petroleum Technology, Special Education and B. Ed (H) Teacher Education, and School of Law B.A., LL.B. (H), Doctor of Physical Therapy (five-year) and Doctor of Pharmacy (five-year) for the academic year 2023 at the University of Karachi on Sunday.
 


KU has conducted the entry test in the 303 examination rooms established at 28 examination centers across the campus for the 1600 seats in 23 departments. KU has received 11,082 online admission forms, and 95.43 percent of candidates appeared in the entry test on Sunday. The 100 minutes long entry test started at 11 am.


 
The KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, KU Registrar Professor Dr Abdul Waheed, KU Dean of Arts and Social Sciences Professor Dr Nusrat Idress, Professor Dr Anila Amber Malik simultaneously visited the examination rooms during the entry test conduction.
