KARACHI: The staff of Sindh Government Hospital Ibrahim Hyderi staged a protest demonstration against the termination of their jobs.
The staff NGO, Hands, was fired from their services after the Sindh Health Department and Hands agreement expired on 18 February. The hospital was under public and private partnerships.
All departments of the healthcare facility were closed except emergency, while operation theatre ultrasound and medicine supplies were also suspended.
The protesters were having banners and placards inscribed with different slogans, including reviving the project, justice for employees and others.
