KARACHI- In order to contribute to a good cause initiated by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) administration has decided to participate in the public cause of tackling water crisis by helping in building the Diamer-Basha-Mohmand Dam.
Executive Director, JPMC, Dr. Seemin Jamali, wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary of Sindh, stating that JPMC management has decided to contribute to the recently launched Diamer-Basha-Mohmand Dam, and that he views the deduction of salaries for the month of August, as per settlements.
The employees from BPS- 1 to BPS- 15 have agreed to contribute their one-day’s worth salary, while officers from BPS- 16 to BPS-21 will be contributing their two-days salary, for the construction of the dam.
All the employees agreed for the contribution, except Nurse Nasreen Siddique. According to her, she has already contributed Rs. 60, 000 for this purpose.
