ISLAMABAD: A blood donation camp was recently organized by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), in collaboration with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing, the Faculty of Management Sciences, and the Directorate of Student Affairs.
The camp was held in partnership with the Pakistan Red Crescent Hospital.
The camp saw an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff, who donated blood to help patients battling thalassemia, dengue, and other critical conditions.
NUML Director General Brigadier Shahzad Munir, along with other senior officials, visited the camp and engaged with the donors. Brig Munir commended the students for their commitment to serving the community, highlighting their strong sense of social responsibility.
"Blood donation is a noble act that can save countless lives. I am proud of our students for stepping up to support those in need," he said, emphasizing the importance of regular blood donations in addressing medical emergencies and supporting vulnerable patients.
In recognition of their contributions, donors were awarded certificates.
The event reflected NUML’s ongoing commitment to community service and its efforts to cultivate compassion among students.
This blood donation camp is part of NUML’s broader initiatives to promote social responsibility and make a positive impact on society.
