Islamabad: The National Examination Board (NEB) - Step III Examination was recently held by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) at the Khyber Medical University in Peshawar.
A large group of 243 Pakistani medical graduates who had acquired their medical degrees from Russia, Iran, China, Latin America and Nepal, sat through this exam. All these medical graduates had already cleared the Step I and II examinations of NEB.
According to reports; Noted professors of medical colleges of Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Mardan conducted the examination in their own fields of specialisation. The examination marking or scoring was done by Khyber University Peshawar, while the results will be declared by the Khyber Medical University shortly.
The Registrar of PMDC - Dr Raja Amjad Mehmood along with the relevant officials visited the examination hall and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements for the exercise. He expressed the hope that the PMDC-KMU professional relationship would continue.
